Sara Kangas is Assistant Professor in the College of Education at Lehigh University. She is an applied linguist who investigates opportunity to learn for ELs with disabilities, with particular attention to the ways in which education policies, school structures, and ideologies effect their everyday learning experiences. Her research seeks to promote social justice and educational ethics through advocating and expanding the learning opportunities and educational rights of ELs with disabilities. Sara holds a PhD in Education with a concentration in applied linguistics from Temple University.
